David Kinloch: a workshop responding to William McTaggart paintings

Kirkcaldy Art Gallery's 'McTaggart's Children' exhibition, featuring works by one of Scotland's finest painters, was one of the highlights of Fife's Year of Culture in 2010. The Art Gallery are mounting a new exhibition, McTaggart's Scottish Shorelines, for May 2011 in the gallery at Kinburn Park. This workshop, led by David Kinloch acclaimed for his poems in response to artists and their works, is a unique opportunity to engage with these celebrated paintings by creating individual and unique poetic responses to serve as alternative titles for the works. The Art Gallery will exhibit a selection of the finished poems during the exhibition in May.
