As part of our celebrations to mark the centenary of the great Scottish poet Sorley MacLean (Somhairle MacGill-Eain), acclaimed soprano Lesley-Jane Rogers and soloists from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra join the St Andrews University Chamber Orchestra in a concert featuring winning compositions from young composers of new settings for Sorley MacLean poems, together with a reading of the poems in their original Gaelic by this year’s Poet In Residence.
