The fatrasie is a medieval form that was used for nonsense poetry. This workshop will look at examples and examine the relevance of the fatrasie to elliptical tendencies in the contemporary short lyric. Then participants will be taken through writing a fatrasie step by step and time will be allowed for revising and sharing.
