Maoilios Caimbeul / Myles Campbell

Gaelic poet Maoilios Caimbeul / Myles Campbell (b. 1944) comes from Staffin, Isle of Skye, where he now lives. He has published six collections, the first in 1980, plus a co-authored collection, and his work is widely anthologised with English translations. He was writer-in-residence at Sabhal Mr Ostaig UHI, the Skye Gaelic college, for 2008. He is currently working part-time for the College as a creative writing tutor. Maoilios Caimbeul is StAnza 2011s Poet in Residence.
