KIDS' SCOTS POETRY ACTIVITIES AT MUSA IN FEBRUARY

Saturday 1 February 2014

We're delighted to be working again with MUSA, the Museum of the University of St Andrews. One of our pre-festival workshops takes place at MUSA on 5th March, and includes a tour of their stores, which is something not to be missed. Like icebergs, museums always have a lot more than is on show at any one time, so this workshop visit is a chance to see behind the scenes at the museum.

We are also collaborating with MUSA on a digital installation of poems commissioned in response to some artefacts from commonwealth countries which have found their way to St Andrews, and the poems already in for that are already exciting interest.

However, the museum is also making plans for some children's events over the February school mid-term break. MUSA is hosting two Scots poetry/performance events for children and family drop-in activities with the Scottish Language Dictionaries. Further details of are available on their website:  http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/musa/whatson/
