Poetry Map of Scotland, poem no. 181: Chocolate Factory, Oban

Chocolate Kiss

Chocolate kiss,
Feels funny
Writing this.

My mouth, filled with
Sweet cocoa and cream
Chocolate brownie and cream
Chocolate fish which
I can dip in the cream.

And the only thing
I can think
Is how to kiss you
With a mouth full
Of chocolate and cream.

Love comes through
The senses;
That’s great when
All there is, is
Chocolate and cream
And the endless combinations
You can make
When you kiss.
