Border Crossings

Thursday 7 March, 11:30 - 12:30
Town Hall, Queens Gardens - Supper Room

Reading: Marco Fazzini, Sally Evans

This Border Crossings session features a poet whose interest extends beyond the contemporary form into prose, music and translation – tracing the connections and play between these communicative forms of expression. Marco Fazzini's latest books reflect on poetry and songwriting, on translation, and on meetings with poets. His most recent poetry collection is a trilingual collection entitled 21 poesie/poemas/poems. He'll be joined by a mainstay of the Scottish poetry scene (and former StAnza slam champion), Sally Evans. Sally has published a number of collections, including most recently A Burrell Tapestry (2017). She was the long-time editor of Poetry Scotland and ran the Callander Poetry Weekend for a number of years.
