The Undercroft, St John's House, South Street
£4.50/£3.50

Reading: Richard Gwyn, Arne Rautenberg, Ken Cockburn

Don’t miss our final Border Crossings session of this festival, in which we feature two poets who draw from a wide range of influences. Richard Gwyn is a poet and translator whose most recent collection, Stowaway: A Levantine Adventure, centres around an unnamed protagonist, a kind of anti-Ulysses, and this character’s journeys around the eastern Mediterranean. Richard will be reading alongside Arne Rautenberg, an award-winning German poet translated into English by Ken Cockburn. Arne’s playful work ranges from concrete poetry to writing for children through to exuberant and experimental sound texts.
