Wake up and smell the poetry!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day—so make sure you begin the day well with a healthy portion of poetry! Our breakfast discussion events offer a relaxed start to the day with a group of poets and other festival participants exploring this year’s festival themes over coffee and pastries.

Polar bears, whalers and the northern lights: the north has long been a place of fascination. Join us as we unpick poetically what northness has come to mean for us, and consider how Scotland engages with and might learn from her more northerly neighbours.
