Children's Events

StAnza has always featured events for young poetry fans. From readings by children’s authors to staged performances, they are targeted at the age groups specified in the listings. Poets and postgraduate poetry students also make school visits prior to the festival and the festival organisation is actively involved in work with teachers on developing poetry teaching skills. StAnza runs an annual Children’s Poetry Competition open to children resident in Fife or who attend Fife schools.
