Collective Poetry Reading

Saturday 10 March, 19:10 - 19:25
The Byre Theatre, Abbey Street - Level 2 Foyer

Join us for a moment of solidarity in our collective reading

Over the last two years, our collective readings have seen over a hundred people (from poets to passers by) reading aloud different poems all at the same time, filling the Byre Theatre with poetry. We have shared poems written and published in solidarity with refugees, texts addressing oppression, hope and survival, and poetry in translation, celebrating bridges rather than borders. Watch this space to discover the theme of our collective reading at StAnza 2018.

No previous experience of reading poetry is necessary, and quiet voices are as welcome as commanding ones, so please do come along to the Byre for this special event
