Graphic poetry

Thursday 8 March, 10:00 - Saturday 10 March, 17:00
Public Library, Church Square - Meeting Room

Word and image are intertwined in these unusual artworks by Lies Van Gaase

Lies Van Gasse has gained critical acclaim as a poet, and originally trained as a visual artist. She brings these two artforms together in both collaborative projects and her own individual practice, and dubs the outcome “graphic poems”, with a nod to the increasingly popular genre of the graphic novel, where word and image are of equal importance. We’re thrilled to be showing a selection of her graphic poems at StAnza 2018.

In partnership with Fife Cultural Trust Libraries, Arts, Museums & Archives and supported by Flanders Literature
