‘I sat till I could see no longer’
Anna Chapman Parker’s work is concerned with language, text and experiences of observation. Most recently she has delved into written accounts of looking and being in the landscape. For StAnza 2019, she will be exhibiting a series of drawings and paintings which take as their starting point lines extracted from the notebooks and diaries of Dorothy Wordsworth, Richard Jefferies, Francis Kilvert and John Clare, all of whose writings consider how we move through landscapes.
This exhibition is presented in partnership with Fife Contemporary
