Lunch and verses with the reigning UK and BBC slam champion

Poetry meets song meets dance meets storytelling in this stunning performance. Birdspeed, a British-born Barbadian-raised poet, is an international slam champion, with her accolades including the National UK Slam and the BBC Edinburgh Fringe Slam. Also the current Manhattan Arts Festival Laureate, she has headlined across New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey and Los Angeles. Known for her ability to weave together different cultures as well as poetry and movement, this is a lunchtime performance that will leave you breathless.
