Poetry Café: Jemima Foxtrot in Melody

Saturday 5 March, 13:00 - 13:50
The Byre Theatre, Abbey Street - Studio Theatre

Lunch plus a funny and bittersweet spoken word show

In her debut poetry show, Jemima Foxtrot interweaves spoken word with fragments of song to explore how music attaches itself to memories, people and places. With humour and poignancy, Melody tells a story of childhood and displacement, growing up and migration, heartbreak and joy. Sit back and enjoy your lunch, included in the price of the ticket, and let yourself be entertained and moved by this critically acclaimed show, which in 2015 won the spoken word award at Buxton Fringe Festival and glowing reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe.
