The Byre Theatre, Abbey Street - Studio Theatre

Lunch and spoken word from the pick of the Scottish scene

It’s that time of year again! Kick back and refuel with a bite to eat (included in the price of the ticket) at the first of our Poetry Café events, and enjoy two of the hottest young talents to emerge from the Scottish spoken word scene. Katherine McMahon is an Edinburgh-based performance poet who rhymes the world towards a kinder future. She’ll be performing alongside StAnza’s digital slam champion Stephen Watt, whose rather darker poetry earned him the role of Bloody Scotland’s first ever crime poet.
