Don’t miss John Glenday, our final headliner of the festival

Wendy has sadly had to cancel, but we're delighted to welcome John Glenday to close the festival instead.

For our final 2020 Poetry Centre Stage event, StAnza is delighted to welcome back John Glenday. John's work has won the Roehampton Poetry Prize and been shortlisted for both the Ted Hughes Award and the Griffin International Poetry Prize. His most recent collection, The Golden Mean, appeared in 2015, and his Selected Poems is to be published by Picador. Combining a direct and conversational voice with tenderly crafted lyrics, John's work often revolves around ideas of presence, absence and the evanescent.
