Round Table

Friday 6 March, 15:45 - 16:30
Albany Hotel, North Street
£6.50/£5.00

An intimate reading with Tony Walsh

Take advantage of this rare opportunity for a round table discussion with Tony Walsh (aka Longfella), as he discusses his journey into writing and shares some of his manifesto for poetry. Starting with the poems he wrote as a six-year-old, and always interspersed with poems, he’ll consider where poetry has taken him—from Keswick to Kazakhstan, Abbey Road to Park Lane, and uniting a city in the aftermath of the 2017 Manchester bombing. Be prepared for raw emotions and ancient notebooks—and bring your own questions to join in the discussion.
