StAnza’s Listening Booth: North Uist Sea Poems
Settle down with a set of headphones from the balcony on the Byre's Level 2, and enjoy this year's virtual listening booth. During the winter of 2004/5, which included a devastating hurricane, poet Pauline Prior-Pitt regularly walked on Sollas beach. She kept a sea diary, and out of it created the prize-winning pamphlet North Uist Sea Poems, a collection which explores and imagines coastlines, footprints and relationships. Listen to Pauline's poems set to music by poet and musician Catherine Eunson.
