Watercolours responding to Rachel Plummer’s re-imagining of Scottish myths

Nominated for a Carnegie medal, Rachel Plummer’s collection Wain retells Scottish myths with a queer slant for children and teenagers, re-imagining the tales of kelpies, selkies and Ghillie Dhu. The collection is illustrated with stunning watercolours and ink drawings by Helene Boppert, which we’re delighted to exhibit at StAnza.

The exhibition will be available to view at the Byre Theatre from Saturday evening onwards.

Supported by EventScotland as part of the Year of Coasts and Waters, and in partnership with OnFife Libraries, Galleries and Museums

Participants: Helene Boppert and Rachel Plummer
