Zoe Benbow

Zoe Benbow is a studio artist with a 30-year professional practice based in London. Since graduating in 1989 from an MA (RCA) in Painting she has undertaken nineteen solo shows as well as collaborative, ACE-funded projects and international residencies. She is also an experienced artist educator. In March 2020 a one person show of her work will open at Three Colt Gallery, Limehouse. Visual research material, photographs and pencil drawings made while walking in the Lakes for the ‘Dorothy’s Colour’ project continue to inform Zoe’s large scale studio canvases. These oil paintings are subtle and precise in their use of colour and composition and use painting processes, pouring, dragging etc to imply natural form.
