Sarah Corbett

Sarah Corbett has published five collections of poetry, most recently A Perfect Mirror (2018) and the verse-novel And She Was (2015), with Pavilion Poetry/Liverpool University Press. Both books were highly commended in the Forward Poetry prizes. A recipient of an Eric Gregory Award, Sarah has been shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize and her work has been widely translated and anthologised. She is currently completing her first novel which has already won the Andrea Badenoch Award for Fiction in 2019. Sarah has worked on projects with a range of artists, writers and filmmakers, and ‘Dorothy’s Colour’, her collaboration with the visual artist Zoe Benbow, was shown at the Wordsworth Trust and Lancaster Arts in 2017, and the Poetry Cafe in 2018. Sarah teaches Creative Writing for Lancaster University and lives in West Yorkshire.
