Cat Loud

Known for dusky vocals and biting wit, Cat Loud is a jazz singer, cabaret performer and writer from the Isle of Mull, now based in Edinburgh. A regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, she debuted he first show Cat Loud’s Big Night In in 2015 to five-star reviews. Her most recent solo apocalypse cabaret To the End of the World! won a VAULT Festival Origins Award for Outstanding New Work in 2018. She also leapt into the jazz scene with Good Morning, Billie!—a celebration of jazz icon Billie Holiday—which premiered in 2018 with The Blueswater. Her most recent jazz project, Torch Songs, features some of the most dismal love songs in jazz, blues and soul, and has been at performed Edinburgh’s Jazz Bar, the Dundee Jazz Festival and the Prague Fringe.
