Mane Manushev

Mane Manushev graduated at the “Blaže Koneski” Faculty of Philology in Skopje in 2006, at the department of general and comparative literature. He writes poetry and short stories, and is actively involved in the study of the Irish language and photography. I shall is his first published book and drew the attention of the critics in Macedonia. He was awarded the “Enhalon” Award at the Struga Poetry Evenings for his poem 'The future has forgotten us', for the best poem by a young author read at the festival in 2013.

And then God decided to do it selfie.
When he unlocked his smartphone
like a tsunami a new constellation
appeared in the sky,
with the form of a pin code.
Only fish in the North Sea can see it
and forget in just 3 seconds.
