Steve Smart

Steve Smart is a poet, visual artist and information designer. Steve’s poems have been published in Poet’s Corner, Fat Damsel and Ink, Sweat & Tears. Recent work includes a cycle of poems called ‘Drawing Breath’ developed in collaboration with Edinburgh-based artist Tansy Lee Moir. As part of his work at the University of St Andrews, Steve has been involved in developing an online presence for the Poems for Doctors collaboration between the University of St Andrews School of Medicine and the Scottish Poetry Library. As the core of the project Steve is making a series of short films of medics reading poems from the collection Tools of the trade: Poems for new doctors.
