Kenneth Steven

Kenneth Steven’s writing encompasses fiction for adults and children, but he considers himself first and foremost a poet and has published twelve collections to date. He is also a broadcaster and has made many programmes for BBC radio, the majority of which have been poetry-related. His programme on the Scottish island of St Kilda won a Sony award. Steven’s books have appeared in sixteen languages and he travels widely to give readings and talks. He has studied and taught in Norway and has translated from both Norwegian and Sami.
