Mark Wilde

Mark Wilde, born in Scotland, was a chorister at Dundee Cathedral before studying at the University of East Anglia and the Royal College of Music. He has performed as an opera singer internationally, and has established a particularly close relationship with English Touring Opera. He also sings regularly in concert. Recent highlights have included performing as Berenice in Hipermestra for Glyndebourne Festival Opera and Monsieur Triquet in Eugene Onegin for Garsington Opera at Wormsley. He is a professor of singing at London’s Royal Academy of Music and a trustee of Waterperry Opera Festival.
