MUSA (Museum of the University of St Andrews), The Scores

Location: MUSA (Museum of the University of St Andrews), 7a The Scores, St Andrews, Fife, KY16 9AR

St Andrews is home to Scotland’s oldest university (the third oldest in the English-speaking world). No visit to this lovely seaside town is complete without exploring the history of this ancient institution which has shared its streets for 600 years. The Museum of the University of St Andrews (MUSA) displays to the public some of the treasures from the University's collection of over 112,000 artefacts. The museum has four galleries, a 'Learning Loft' and a viewing terrace with panoramic views over St Andrews Bay. Discover how the University has developed, how its graduates have shaped the world and how the world has shaped St Andrews. MUSA is easy to find on foot from the town centre. From the castle you can continue on along The Scores towards the golf course and we are on the right hand side half way along. Alternatively you can walk down Butts Wynd from North Street and we are opposite the end of the lane.
