Learn more about the project behind our exhibition of The Book of Ours – presented in partnership with Fife Contemporary – from one of the project’s originators, Phil Davenport. Over 100 people with experience of homelessness collaborated to make a medieval-style illuminated manuscript, modelled upon a Book of Hours and describing their daily lives. Significant events, celebrations and memorials document these hugely individual lives, in a visual-poetic work by people who stories don’t appear in official histories.
