Wake up and smell the Poetry Café! Ease into the last day of the festival with coffee and pastries, while a group of the festival’s poets and translators discuss translation’s intimate relationship with poetry. We’ll be looking not only at the challenges posed by translation but above all at the creative opportunities it opens up. This year we’re shining a spotlight on the three languages of the Netherlands, Dutch, Frisian and Flemish.

Supported by Fisher & Donaldson, the Government of Flanders, Flanders Literature and the Dutch Foundation for Literature, with assistance from the Royal Netherlands Embassy

Breakfast events include tea, coffee and pastries in the ticket price. Please let us know in advance of any relevant dietary requirements, quoting your ticket number, and we shall do our best to offer you a suitable alternative.
