A digital installation of poems and images from Magma Poetry’s climate change issue

In her poem ‘Change’ from Magma Poetry’s The Climate Change Issue in 2018, D.A. Prince describes ‘a mad map / of drought, gasping. But these fields are, / again, under water.’ Climate change has been the slow burning issue which is now threatening to overwhelm our world. StAnza 2019 is partnering with Magma Poetry to showcase their engagement with a global concern. One of the issue’s editors, Fiona Moore, will chair our Friday morning Poetry Breakfast panel discussion, considering how to write a good climate change (or indeed, political) poem. Fiona has also curated this digital installation of selected shorter poems and excerpts of poems from the magazine alongside related images. In addition some of the poets featured in The Climate Change Issue will read and discuss their poems at a Meet the Artist event.
