They took Edinburgh and Glasgow by storm, building an audience and a demand for spoken word poetry which continues to grow. They’ve wowed audiences and reviewers at festivals in Edinburgh, Brighton and Prague, where they won the 2016 New Territories Award. They’ve brought new poets and performers into the spotlight, and have produced more slam champions than we can count. We’re delighted to welcome the Loud Poets, who’ve curated an hour of performance poetry from some of Scotland’s best up-and-coming spoken word artists. Expect tightly crafted poetry, dynamic performances, and a smashing in-house band. Be prepared. This will be loud.
