Poets read from Magma’s Climate Change Issue

Poet and playwright Bertolt Brecht once asked what kind of a world we live in, when a conversation about trees is almost a crime because it implies silence about so many terrible deeds. In 2019, by contrast, conversations about trees, rivers and oceans, have become urgently and politically charged: climate change is the slow burning issue now threatening to overwhelm our world. For 2019, StAnza is partnering with Magma Poetry to highlight their engagement with a global concern. Join us at this event to hear a selection of poems from Magma’s Climage Change Issue, also showcased in one of our digital installations.
