A Minor Walk

Friday 6 March, 13:15 - 13:45
Preservation Trust Museum, North Street - Garden
This event took place in 2020

A gentle walk interspersed with poetry, led by Alec Finlay

In his Minor Walk manifesto, Alec Finlay defines a minor walk as "a wander in which distance never gets out of hand" and reminds us that "we begin and end our lives as minor walkers". Join Alec for a gentle walk, starting in the Preservation Trust Museum garden and going further afield depending on the weather. We'll be sharing some poems and recognising pavement cracks and kerbs as the scree and crags of minor walks.
