Events - Festival 2021

poem-labels (postponed)

Thursday 1 July, 12:00 - Thursday 30 September, 16:00
Preservation Trust Museum, North Street - Garden

Find mini poems by Alec Finlay in a trail around the museum garden (postponed)

As part of his appearance at StAnza 2020, Alec Finlay offered a selection of poem-labels attached to plants around the garden of the Preservation Trust Museum. Due to their popularity, these have become a semi-permanent installation.

We had hoped the garden would be open during the festival so people could drop by to enjoy Alec’s minimalist poetry and quiet distillation of moments. However, because of the lockdown it is currently closed, but the labels should still be there once it opens again.

Please note that live viewing of the exhibition depends on, and will be managed to comply with, Covid-19 regulations on social distancing in place in Fife in March 2021, and requires pre-booking for individuals or household groups. Please book your slot on the museum’s website by clicking here.

Please also read our position on Covid-19 safety and compliance.
