A poetic response by three poets to the work of the Turner prize-winning architectural collective, Assemble
The architectural collective Assemble won the 2015 Turner Prize, the exhibition for which is in the Tramway in Glasgow until 17 January 2016. As part of our focus on architecture for Scotland’s Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design, StAnza commissioned three poets to each produce a poem responding to Assemble’s work. The resulting poems by Ellen McAteer, Henry Bell and Susan Mansfield feature in this digital installation along with photographs of Assemble’s work.
In association with Assemble and St Mungo’s Mirrorball Clydebuilt poetry apprenticeship scheme. Our thanks to Assemble for permission to reproduce their photographs.
