Poetry in the Garden
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, people have been turning to poetry for consolation and inspiration, emphasising the pivotal nature of the artform to our wellbeing and emotional lives. A similar role has been played by the outdoors and the natural world. In ‘Poetry in the Garden’, we’ll be interweaving these two elements, with a reading from a poet whose work finds consolation in the natural world.
This reading will be to a small and socially distanced audience, with access to the museum garden via a gate on North Castle Street. More information on access will be made available on booking. If the reading needs to be postponed due to governmental guidelines, it will take place later in the year.
