Darran Anderson is an Irish writer, editor and poet. His latest book is Imaginary Cities (“Poetic, aphoristic and comprising a seeming infinity of quotable lines… a wonder cabinet” according to the Chicago Tribune). He is the former editor of The Honest Ulsterman and former poetry editor of 3:AM Magazine. He has written extensively on poetry including on the work of Rimbaud, Apollinaire, Trakl, Plath, Mayakovsky, Crane, Holub, Bukowski, the Beats and the German Expressionists. He also writes on art across Europe for Studio International. He is currently working on Fata Morgana (a travelogue of mythic places) and Notes on Three Drownings (an exploration of rivers, suicide and the subconscious).
