Katica Kulavkova

Katica Kulavkova is a literary and cultural theoretician and writer based in Skopje. She is the Vice President of PEN International and honorary president of PEN Macedonian. The author of more than thirty books of poetry (in Macedonian and in translation), she also two collections of short stories, one play, and approximately forty other books to her name, as both author and editor. Her research interests include theory and hermeneutics of literature, Balkan cultures, South Slavic literatures, intertextual theory, critical methods and interpretative syncretism.
