Katrine Lyck is a Danish artist currently studying for a degree in printmaking at the Royal College of Art. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2019 and continues to draw inspiration from Scotland’s rich folklore, architecture and dramatic nature. She uses a range of techniques and materials in her printmaking process, such as aquatint, dry point, mezzotint, photec etchings and lately cyanotype. Travelling is a crucial inspiration for Katrine, gathering atmospheric and magical images in her sketchbook using ink. Her portfolio includes murals, portraits, album covers, posters and fine arts pieces.
