Voices in Mousa Broch; Part IV
Voices in Mousa Broch Part IV: When you stoop in our doorwaysyou will feel we were small.Measure our fearby the wall's thickness. The gulls that nesteach year where we livedleave no less behind. Our stone benchestook no impress. In the shadowsof low-roofed cellsyou guess at us,around the bendsof narrow stairways. But all you knowis the hollow in the millstoneand a white middenof empty seashells. Sheenagh Pugh
