How We Feel: festival opening night

Kick off StAnza 2025 with an evening that celebrates emotion and exploration. The night begins with our Colourful Cabaret, where seven vibrant poets – CD Boyland, Charlotte Van den Broeck, Deborah Moffat, Hannah Copley, Patrick Errington, Theresa Lola, and Tim Tim Cheng –  read poems inspired by the ‘feeling’ of a different colour.

Next, we welcome award-winning poet and author Ruth Padel, whose latest collection is rich with mythology, mysticism, and sensuality. The Guardian has hailed it as ‘a rhapsodic work’.

Opening night promises to be a palette of colour and lyrical delights!
