StAnza, Scotland’s International Poetry Festival returned to St Andrews in early March 2024, weaving together an exciting blend of performers, creators, artwork and poetic forms to present Warp and Weft: a tapestry of poetry.

Inspired by the interdisciplinary nature of poetry – from past to present – and StAnza’s famed community spirit, the 2024 festival was bursting at the seams with events celebrating the craftsmanship behind creativity: from writing to weaving, performing to podcasting, zine-making to baking.

Poets from Scotland, the UK and overseas came together in St Andrews from 8-10 March 2024, with the festival once again embracing a hybrid format, featuring livestreams and digital exclusives, allowing audiences and artists to join the conversation, no matter where they are.
