Our supporters are our lifeblood.
StAnza thrives as a result of the committed community behind it. We have our Artistic Director and Executive Producer pulling the big strings. Supporting them are a wee team of freelancers, and during festival week our community swells with a vibrant band of volunteers, many of whom have been with StAnza for years. Underpinning all of this activity are our supporters.
You supporters help fund accommodation for travelling artists, so we can bring the most exciting voices to St Andrews. You help us offer affordable, flexible ticketing so that everyone, regardless of financial position, can come and be part of our festival of poetry. You help us broadcast live to individual poetry lovers across the globe, connecting those separate from us by geography or for any other reason.
Supporters join us for a special festival launch reception, they get special advance access to tickets and first dibs on those coveted workshop spaces. But more importantly, supporters get to attend StAnza in March knowing that they have played a vital role in bringing the festival back for another year.
Our Supporters scheme has three tiers. Friend, Champion and Benefactor.
We can no longer rely on arts funding to support the arts in Scotland. Instead we look to those who can afford it to make sure that our cultural scene stays vibrant through these straitened times.
Friend £50+
As a friend of StAnza, you’ll enjoy special advanced booking access, to make sure you get booked in to your favourite events, particularly those ever-in-demand poetry workshops.
-You’ll be able to book two tickets for up to ten events during your priority booking period.
-You’ll get a free digital pass for use across the festival.
-You’ll have access to a range of discounts and special offers with relevant organisations and businesses.
-You’ll know that you are a vital part of the StAnza community.
Champion £250+
As a Champion of StAnza you’ll enjoy all the benefits of our Friends, plus
-You’ll be able to book up to three tickets per event, for up to ten events, during your priority booking period.
-You’ll get a second free digital pass for use across the festival.
-You’ll get an invitation to our opening night reception, and two tickets to our opening night event.
-You’ll receive our Annual Impact Report, to really see the difference your support is making.
Benefactor £1000+
As Benefactor you’ll enjoy all the benefits of Champion level membership, plus
-You’ll be able to book up to four tickets per event during your priority booking period.
-You’ll be able to claim up to four digital passes for use across the festival.
-You’ll be invited to lunch with our Artistic Director.
-You’ll receive an annual poetry gift at Christmas, selected by our Artistic Director.
-You’ll also know that have become a vital part of the StAnza community, and a signifiant patron of the arts in Scotland.
