Hills and mountains will loom invitingly around StAnza 2017, in workshops, readings, conversations and in visual art exhibitions, serving as image and metaphor, memories and perhaps even as dreams. This exhibition, however, should serve to keep us grounded. This is where it starts, with boots on the ground, or on the shelf, while poetry tries to keep up.
