Join StAnza for our first poetry breakfast of the year with Meryl Pugh, Jo Clement, Tim Cresswell and Mina Gorji. Pick up a hot beverage, a delicious pastry, and let four of the best eco-poets in these islands guide you through their work and thinking as we kick off the second day of the 2023 festival.

Meryl Pugh lives in Leytonstone, East London and teaches for the Poetry School. She is the author of three pamphlets and one collection of poetry, Natural Phenomena. Dr Jo Clement is a working-class poet and interdisciplinary maker of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller ethnicity, and lectures in Creative Writing at Northumbria University. Tim Cresswell is a geographer and poet based at the University of Edinburgh who writes on themes of place, mobility, and poetics. Mina Gorji is a poet and scholar of Romantic and Contemporary Poetry and is an Associate Professor in English and fellow of Pembroke College, Cambridge.
