A reading from emerging poet Lydia McMillan as part of the Scottish Poetry Library’s Next Generation Young Makars Programme, a new talent development scheme for poetry writers aged 16 to 25 years. McMillan’s thematic interests include the natural world, temporality, and love, and as part of the programme she has been mentored by the Scottish poet Michael Pedersen.
