The first event in our new Round the World ticket strand, featuring two poets from each continent in the days leading up to the live festival, before arriving back in St Andrews itself. Our opening event features two leading poets from Australasia. Angela Gardner will read from her ‘rattling good yarn’ The Sorry Tale of the Mignonette, a verse novel, while Tusiata Avia will share work which has been described as redefining the face of New Zealand literature in its renegotiation of oral and written traditions, and of different New Zealand cultures.

Please note that one of the participants has alerted us that there is a small amount of swearing in this film.
