Alice Tarbuck
Alice Tarbuck is an award-winning poet, writer and academic. She has taught Creative Writing at the University of Dundee, and the University of York, and is a 2019 Scottish Book Trust New Writer’s Awardee for poetry. Her debut non-fiction book A Spell in the Wild: a year (and six centuries) of Magic (Hodder, 2020) was shortlisted for the 2021 ASLE Nature Writing Award. Her poetry has been widely published and she is part of 12, an Edinburgh writing collective.

Join poet and writer Alice Tarbuck for an interactive online workshop. We’re in a golden age of literary witchcraft, as the figure of the witch has been recovered from Middle Ages infamy into a more familiar, relatable, positive potentiality. Few poets are better versed in this regard than Tarbuck, author of the almanac and guide A Spell in the Wild: A Year (And Six Centuries) Of Witchcraft. In this workshop, Tarbuck will share a wealth of knowledge, and guide you on your own magic literary journey.
