Alice Tarbuck
Alice Tarbuck is an award-winning poet, writer and academic. She has taught Creative Writing at the University of Dundee, and the University of York, and is a 2019 Scottish Book Trust New Writer’s Awardee for poetry. Her debut non-fiction book A Spell in the Wild: a year (and six centuries) of Magic (Hodder, 2020) was shortlisted for the 2021 ASLE Nature Writing Award. Her poetry has been widely published and she is part of 12, an Edinburgh writing collective.

Alice Tarbuck is an award-winning poet and writer. Her debut non-fiction book A Spell in the Wild: a year (and six centuries) of Magic is published by Hodder & Stoughton.
Claire Askew‘s books include the creative writing guide Novelista (John Murray, 2020), the multi-award-winning novel All The Hidden Truths (Hodder, 2018) and the poetry collection How To Burn A Woman (Bloodaxe, 2021), which won the 2022 Scottish Poetry Book of the Year Award.
